Table Mountain Toys allows for returns in accordance with the provisions of section 20(2) (a) to (d) of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

In addition to this Table Mountain Toys allows for the return of any purchase, except for “special order items” (*see below) within 7 calendar days, reckoned from the date of receipt of goods.

Return of unwanted stock:
This must be returned within the period of 7 calendar days and is subject to the following conditions:

  • That the product is in its original packaging and includes all accessories, manuals, software etc.

  • That the management of Table Mountain Toys deems the returning product to be undamaged and in the same condition in which it was originally shipped.

  • The return is done so at the expense and risk of the customer.

  • That a 'Request for Return' form is completed by the customer and approved by the General Manager.

  • That items ordered have not been personalized (e.g. engraving or embroidery )

Return of defective, damaged or incorrect supplied stock:
Table Mountain Toys warrants all products sold by us to be free of defects at the time of shipping. All new products sold by us are subject to their respective manufacturer or distributor warranty policy and procedures. These are subject to change without our knowledge.

Goods may be returned only when defective, damaged or if the product supplied is not the same product as that ordered.

Defective: If the goods are defective in any way this must be reported as soon as reasonably possible after the product having been delivered to you and must be returned to us within a period of 6 months after delivery. Prior to returning faulty products you agree to contact us first so that we can provide you with the necessary details to facilitate the return.

The manufacturer or its official distributing agent will at their sole discretion determine if the repair or replacement can be honoured under the terms of the warranty. Their decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Should a product be found to be faulty within 7 (seven) days from having received your delivery, Table Mountain Toys will cover the costs for both the collection and return of the product. This is subject to the manufacturer or its official distributing agent determining that the faulty product can be covered under the terms and conditions of its respective warranty. If not the costs for the collection and return of the product will be for your account.

Incorrect item delivered: If the goods are not what was ordered this must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Damage in transit: Any damage must also be reported, within 24 hours of delivery.

If you are returning Goods via courier or post office please package them carefully so that they do not become damaged en-route. Please include the Returns Request Number (or enclose a copy) and a copy of your original invoice with any return. Table Mountain Toys will not be held liable for goods damaged during shipping back to us.

Table Mountain Toys will not be held responsible for errors in the product information supplied, however, should a customer purchase a product that has been incorrectly described, the customer may elect to cancel the sale and return the product for a refund.

*Special Order Itemsspecial order items

Products that are marked as “Special Order” either on http://www.tablemountaintoys.co.za, or on a quotation, are items that cannot be returned. In purchasing these items the customer recognises that the product has been marked as a “Special Order” item and accepts that it may not be returned. This, however, in no way affects the warranty on the product.


Table Mountain Toys  and it’s management reserve the right to amend these policies and terms without notification.
