The B-24 Liberator, first flown in 1939, was the most produced American aircraft of World War II. It was used for a wide variety of missions from long range bombing and submarine patrol to transporting VIPs and high priority cargo. The B-24 bomber "Diamond Lil" was the 18th production B-24 built and is today one of only two airworthy B-24s.
Metal Earth models feature amazing detail with parts cut from one or more 4” square high quality steel sheets. Easy to follow instructions are included with each kit and no glue or solder is required. Simply snip out the pieces and bend the tabs through corresponding connection points.
This B-24 Liberator 3D metal modelling kit includes 3 metal sheets containing body parts of the aircraft. Parts can be removed from the metal sheet by hand, however a pair of wire cutters is recommended. In assembling the 3D model, tweezers make an ideal tool for bending and twisting connection tabs.
