On December 17, 1903, Orville Wright piloted the first powered airplane 20 feet above a wind-swept beach in North Carolina. The flight lasted 12 seconds and covered 120 feet.
Metal Earth models feature amazing detail with parts cut from one or more 4 inch square high quality steel sheets. Easy to follow instructions are included with each kit and no glue or solder is required. Simply snip out the pieces and bend the tabs through corresponding connection points.
The Wright Brothers Airplane metal modelling kit includes 1 metal sheet containing parts of the plane. Parts can be removed from the metal sheet by hand, however a pair of wire cutters is recommended. In assembling the 3D model, tweezers make an ideal tool for bending and twisting connection tabs.
