Willys was a brand name used by Willys–Overland Motors, an American automobile company best known for its design and production of World War II era and later military jeeps . Willys jeep was a highly successful off-road capable, military utility vehicle which became the primary light wheeled transport vehicle of the United States military and its allies in World War II. It was the world's first mass-produced four-wheel drive car with almost 650,000 units built before the end of World War II, constituting a quarter of the total U.S. non-combat motor vehicles produced during the war.

Willys Overland Premium Series metal modelling kit includes 2 metal sheets containing components of the jeep. Parts can be removed from the metal sheet by hand, however a pair of wire cutters is recommended. In assembling the 3D model, tweezers make an ideal tool for bending and twisting connection tabs.
