The single engine P-40 Warhawk was among the most widely seen and used fighters of World War II. Also known as the Tomahawk or Kittyhawk, this ground attack aircraft was made famous by the First American Volunteer Group, better known as the “Flying Tigers”, who took to the sky in shark-faced fighters.
Metal Earth models feature amazing detail with parts cut from one or more 4” square high quality steel sheets. Easy to follow instructions are included with each kit and no glue or solder is required. Simply snip out the pieces and bend the tabs through corresponding connection points.
The P-40 Warhawk metal modelling kit includes 2 metal sheets containing components of the aircraft. Parts can be removed from the metal sheet by hand, however a pair of wire cutters is recommended. In assembling the 3D model, tweezers make an ideal tool for bending and twisting connection tabs.
