The Blue Angels is a flight demonstration squadron of the United States Navy. Formed in 1946, the unit is one of the oldest formal aerobatic teams in the world.

The Blue Angels Premium Series metal modelling kit includes 2 metal sheets containing components of the aircraft. Parts can be removed from the metal sheet by hand, however a pair of wire cutters is recommended. In assembling the 3D model, tweezers make an ideal tool for bending and twisting connection tabs.
